Default Anybody read comic books anymore?

Iron Man comes out tomorrow. Looking forward to buying it.

I haven't read a comic book in years, but I sure loved them when I was a kid. Can't afford to buy the darn things anymore. Too darn expensive.

Anyone else used to collect comics or maybe still do?

I used to love Marvel Comics...

Daredevil
The Avengers
Thor
X-Men were my faves...

Graphic Novels, not comic books. Comic books are things like Richie Rich and the Archies. Where would Hollywood be without plots to steal from 'em?

If you want some, I still have some of my older ones (X-men, Superman, Venom, etc.) from the late 90's. Including the big book conglomerate of the Death of Superman.

They always end up as movies if they are any good so I just wait to see them in the theater. I wish they would come out with more Spawn Movies. The last Batman movie was awesome. I do have some over the top Goth type comic books that I have never read. Maybe I should get them out and read them? On second thought, they must suck since they never made a movie out of any of them.

I can't believe I am the only former comic book nerd on the forum...

Oh you ain't the only "former" comic nerd on the forum....I have a whole binder full of "comic" cards. Like baseball/football cards but comic characters. Yeah, what you got on that! TA2D and I were comic book junkies for a good 5-6 years. Too bad they aren't worth anything!

I have some of the Pvt Murphey commic series. But you pretty much have to be in the Army to understand most of the humor.
