Default Is the drumstick still in biz?

Just curious, I came to NE to see Jason and the Scorchers there many years ago. Great college days road trip. JATS blew the roof off the drumstick, fun place for sure

I must be getting old. I had to read that three times before it made sense. Is there room on the porch for one more?

I've lived in Lincoln now for 10 years, and haven't heard of a place called the drumstick. So, as far as I know, they are out of business.

Maybe someone else knows?

The drumstick was sold and torn down, there is MC Donalds in it's place now, it been gone for a long time. You can add Joan Jet to the list of bands that played there long ago. Lundover, the drumstick used to be located across the street from where Best Buy is now on N. 48th. The parents of some friends on mine back in my high school days owned the Drumstick.

Holy Buckets! Some one has remembered the Drumstick! How about Duds & Suds on N. 27th where you could wash your clothes and have a Frosty Mug of beer! or Little Bo's, and throw in Chubbyville for the heck of it!

I remember little BO's, (good name for a bar around here these days) and my band played at the stick, I do miss that place. Little Bo's too.

The Drumstick; saw Jonny Reno and the Sax Maniacs there 20 some years ago.
Worked in the deli at Little Bo's when I was a teenager.
Where's my cane?

Horney Bull, next to little bo's, $.05 draws, quarter pitchers, Thursday afternoon. Whiskey River Boys and Sandy Creek Band always a great time.

And don't forget in the early days it was BOs East and BOs west with one in the center. I remember what must have been fun times there. At least my head always hurt the next morning.
