Physically disabled individuals are invited to try scuba diving in the pool on Sunday, September 27th beginning at 5 p.m. Husker Divers, a scuba shop in Lincoln, is providing the scuba equipment and trained staff, and the location is the Downtown YMCA.

Disabilities can include amputee, paraplegic, quadriplegic, deaf, blind, Multiple Sclerosis, and others. Husker Divers has certified two paraplegic scuba divers this year, among other disabled divers, who started out trying scuba at this event last September.

Pre-registration is required. Please call Husker Divers at 402-420-6338 or stop by the store, located a block south of S 48th St and Hwy 2 in Lincoln, across from Sonic. There is no obligation or cost to attend this event, but participants may be required to have their doctor's okay, depending on the level of disability.
