Kids' Fishing Clinic and Water Expo--Lake Ogallala

From what I recall seeing at their State Fair booth last fall, the Nebraska Walleye Association has an OUTSTANDING fishing program for kids -- probably the best in the state. I wish one of their members would post an annual schedule here on the Forum.

I hope someone will take you up on your request. I was unaware of the Clinic in Holdrege on April 29, and if needed, I would have definitely made an appearance!

I do have June 6 tentatively on my Calendar for Ogallala, IF YFI's are welcomed!

Maybe we can get OBG to send the NWA an e-mail request!

Harold, PM me if you are coming to Ogallala for sure. Even though I'm not a NWA member, somehow I ended up pretty much in charge of organizing the one here...

There is a local NWA guy helping me, but he's one of those busy guys involved in everything.

Looks like June 6 is the date for OBG's Event in Omaha.

So I guess I'll have to wait for another opportunity in Ogallala.

Bump, still taking registrations. Interestingly, we didn't fill it in two days like last year.

Also going on this weekend is Easter Seals Nebraska's Kasting For Kids Fishing Tournament.

Children under 15 are half price with a paid adult. We will have registration available at the Kid's Clinic on Sat. morning.

For more information on Kasting For Kids or to pre-register go to kastingforkids dot org. Or if you'd like to pre-register in person go to JK Outdoors on Lake McConaughy or to the Ogallala/Keith County Chamber of Commerce Offices in Ogallala.
