LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a spring turkey hunting workshop for 6-9 p.m., April 9, at the Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium, according to Outdoor Education Specialist Aaron Hershberger.
Hershberger said the workshop will cover all aspects of the hunt, including gear, strategies, hi-tech scouting and turkey biology.
"This is a hands-on program and has something for everyone regardless of their level of experience," Hershberger said. "If you are even slightly interested in wild turkeys and turkey hunting you should attend this workshop."
The workshop is free and open to the public, but space is limited and reservations are required. To register call (402) 332-3901 to reserve your spot. The Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium is located south of Gretna on Highway 31.
