Default Archery backstop

Does anyone have any ideas or can share what they did for a backstop in their yard for practicing, shooting their bow. I would hate to send one through the neighbors window. Thanks for any info.

I've used everything from old carpet triple layered drooped over a 2x4 to the heavy rubber matt from the back of my truck. Straw bales work but are messy. Large narrow cardboard box like what a folding table would come in filled with tuff stuff expandable foam. This year I'm just going to use a sheet of plywood. Hope this helps for some ideas.

Yea tried that. Had it fly thru there and stab my privacy fence.

I just went out and bought 2 of the block targets and they dont let anything pass thru. The old Glendel buck is so worn out it passes thru about 1 in 5 shots.

I have a friend who used multiple layers of cardboard stacked on top of each other then put 2 pieces of all thread through them. Next he wrapped it in a piece of industrial conveyor belt.
