Default Boat battery question

I have a 24 volt system hooked up to a bank charger. If I keep the boat in my garage and plugged in will that be okay for the winter?

some on-board chargers will go to a maintenance mode once the batteries are charged. my minn-kota does just that.

Maintenance (or Float) — when the battery reaches full charge, charge output is dropped to 13.2V - 13.4V (.1A - .3A).

If normal lead/acid battery might be sure water levels are checked.

personally id rather leave it unplugged. Having that charge on it constantly even at that small rate just doesnt sound like it will help anything.

But then again thats just my opinion. Im no battery expert.

Keep them plugged in, that's why you spend the money on a good charger!!
