Default tire wear? Trailer repair?

Inside of tires are wore real bad. Does anyone know of a place in Omaha that works on boat trailers? Called Wicks, and boat place on 96th and L. Niether do it and they didnt know who would. I dont think my trailer is to light for the boat. So I guess that leaves bent axle. Wondering what that would cost to fix. Boat is new to me so I may just replace tires and see how long it takes to wear them out.

Air pressure and loose hubs/bearing can cause this. This would be the first I would check. Most times the axles are not off. Start from the cheapest repair and work forward. I had this same issue and seen it many times. My cause was tire pressure was off 5 psi. I have seen hubs that are worn out do it as well.

As Pack said, air pressure. I also have my trailer aligned. The car shop look at me and thought I was weird that I wanted them to check it but when they did it was terrible. They adjusted and tires last a lot longer.

It sounds like air pressure to me, I had the exact problem. Took my tires into Discount tire and showed them the wear and told them I was concerned about the alignment. They stated that it was air pressure. I adjusted the tire pressure on my new set of tires (higher level) and have never had any problems since.

I would look for a good body/frame shop if you want the axle checked. They could stick it on the frame machine, check it, and if it's off, push or pull it to where it needs to be. There used to be a spring/suspension shop on about 70th and F streets also that may be able to help if they're still there.
