Default Two Tips that might make a difference...

Was fishing with a friend over memorial day and had a few things come up that I thought were worth sharing.

Key to first situation was chocolate milk water:

I was in the boat while my buddy ran up to back the trailor into the water. He backs in while I sit about 20 yards away. I watch the fenders sink and it looks good. Start moving in and my friend steps out to watch keel roller distance etc... I approach and when I am about 10 feet away he yells STOP STOP STOP!!! So I hit reverse and stop about 3-4 feet short. Its a good thing he yelled...one of the hull bunks had rolled leaving metal mounting extensions exposed. He walked down and pulled the bunk back to its normal position and the loading was subsequently uneventful. Got out the tools and tightened it down. I got lucky...(note to self) check the bunk bolts now and then and watch the bunks closely regardless during loading.

Other thing that came up...we had lots of rain (out of town) over Memorial weekend and I removed the plug. Next morning drive to lake the get out to ready the boat for unloading. I noticed a tiny twig, like a leaf stem, sticking out of the drain hole and grabbed it with my fingers to pull it out...breaks off. No big deal just tried to dig it out but it was gone. However I felt a bit of sand in the drain hole threads. Figured it can't be good so grabbed a water bottle and sprayed the sand off. Will check the threads for debris now before I install the plug as well.

Hope it helps at least one person
