Getting Going.

After a great morning(100+ birds seen) walking for prairie chickens on Sunday, I am getting so excited for pheasant/quail! I believe that the NGPC is correct on their survey in my area, with pheasants being down and quail up. In late Sept. I walked a field that usually has at least one good covey and scared up three in short order. In my opinion we will see quail hunting in my area better than it has been in the last 10 years. This will be my first year ever sporting an auto instead of my standard Over/Under. And in my practice with it, it seems to be a dandy! Dusting rock right and left. I'm becoming a Benelli Believer!
