Right, we've had nearly 100,000 posts on this forum to date. If we didn't divide it up, all the posts would be in just one long list, all mixed up by subject.
Now, that might be how you radio guys operate, but us nerds here on the internets are very, very precise and organized.
As, Mako, points out, if you like your new posts and threads all scrambled up, you can hit
"New Posts" there at the topic and you will get all posts you haven't read yet in a big, messy list, by date and time. Sometimes, when I'm feeling really crazy, I do that, but mostly, that button just scares me!
Also, if you are trying to be really organized and precise, like me, you can hit the
"Search" function there and type in exactly what you are looking for and you'll get a list of posts of only that topic. I like that a lot. I get no distractions like posts about shooting elephants in Council Bluffs when I'm looking for say, stuff about my favorite Omaha on-air radio personality;
