I'm no DR., but I live close to a Holiday Inn Express. I believe a flu shot wether h1n1 or whatever needs a couple weeks to "incubate" in the body before it becomes effective. Thus Nerds friend did not have enough time to for the shot to be effective. As for mercury, I'm not saying it's a good thing to put into ones body, but as a kid my dad had a small jar of it. I thought the stuff was pretty neat. I played with mercury several times, rolling it around on a towel sticking my fingers into it etc. Thats been 30 years ago, so far so good. I hope it stays that way, but who knows maybe a few years down the road it'll hit me???
