one thing that will save your buckets is:
Go to Dollar General and get yourself some 9 x 13 dish pans (the plastic square buckets people use to collect dishes)

fill that up with cement, leave a little room at the top, and it works like an ice cube tray.....all you have to do is bend it a little like youre popping ice cubes out of a plastic ice cube tray, and the cured concrete comes right out.....you can reuse the dish pan many many times
also, I have been researching pvc structures and guys are starting to build them just like yours except they are angling the "limbs" at angles upward.
Instead of drilling two holes opposite each other and sliding a piece through, drill one hole at a sharp angle down towards the base of the structure, insert pvc "limb" and secure
