They make a Dora pole that floats. I saw that at Shopko. It may be a wise investment. Worms and minnows will keep her entertained but she might not want to fish much after she starts playing with them. I'd 2nd Holmes if your in the Lincoln area. Go out in the center towards the dam and drift a small blue silver tube jig about 18 inches off the bottom in the deeper water.. You'll have gills and no weeds..
