you could try holmes if you have a trolling motor... lots of gills and plenty of bass. an easy way to catch bass that I have found when in a boat if yu just want to get numbers instead of size, take a small/medium sized inline spinner or a beetle spin and just toss it behind the boat a little ways and troll them along the dam, the jetties on the south side of the lake, and other places. Ive doen this many times while we are riding back to the boat ramp and caught several 10-12 inch bass by just trolling these baits.
