Maverick, I have a 3 year old daughter that I take fishing with me, I also have a 14 ft lund......it works great on most lakes around here. I would suggest getting her a pole of her own like a barbie or dora pole, you can get them at walmart for under $10.00........she will take great pride in catching her first fish on her own pole. Have fun.
