My guess is that you could go about any place around the area. I took my three grandkids out last weekend - Prairie View. Like you... 14' aluminum boat, 18hp motor (not needed), and electric (also not NEEDED but recommended!).

Had some REALLY cheap, mini-spincast reels and short (easier for them to handle), and wimpy rods that I had pre-rigged with slip-bobbers. Got worms on the way (FOR FISHING).

It was all I could do to keep up with taking the fish off and re-baiting hooks! Caught 'gills, crappie, and even a couple of 12-13" bass! We fished for about two hours, right in the middle of a HOT afternoon. They had a great time!

One tip... sometimes the "resident" toilets are not very... ahh... "clean". Make sure they all use the restroom BEFORE they leave home. Maybe also throw a soda or two in a small "cooler-bag" so they have something to drink if they get thirsty.
