CJ and I headed back out this evening for some more panfishing. It was a perfect setting to catch fish.

We tried to focus on some Crappie first. CJ got more than a dozen over 12 inches while I managed just one at 13 inches. Then he caught four more 9.5 inch bluegill! Plus several more Green Sunfish/Hybrids at 9 inches. I couldn't keep up with him!

I did also manage 1 Bluegill that was 9.5 inches. Here's a couple pics from the great evening.

CJ stands behind his chosen slabslayer weapons. 4 poles rigged with jigs and one with some sort of small crank.

The look says it all here.

CJ got this bright orange gillzilla later. He wanted a picture of it.
