The 3rd Annual Muskies Inc. Ch. 53 Pool Demo & Pizza Night will be held on Wednesday, March 4th at 6:30 PM. We will first get together at Johnny Sortino's Pizza. After we enjoy some pizza and beverages we will head to the pool demo at 8:00, which will be held at the Lied Fitness Center on the College of St. Mary's campus.
In the past, pool demos have been our most popular event. Everyone sits alongside the pool, while Chris teaches us how to properly work some of the most popular baits on the market, including some of his personal favorites. All of the primary lure styles will be covered including jerkbaits, crankbaits, gliders, topwater, and bucktails. We will also have some very rare and artistic lures for your viewing pleasure.
It will be a great learning experience for beginners, yet still be very interesting and informative for the seasoned angler. Everyone will be able to tone their skills and even learn some new tricks. If you have a certain lure that you would like to master, please feel free to bring your own rod and lures. Just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your requests and teach you the ins and outs of that particular lure.
The cost for the evening is $10 per person at the door, which covers dinner expenses, pool demo, and a raffle ticket. Each additional raffle ticket will be $2 or 6 for $10. The raffle will consist of a nice batch of goodies such as lures and other fishing gear. We would appreciate an RSVP by responding to this post, so we can plan for the food/seating. Invite all of your fishing buddies and be prepared for a great time.
