This year, we're going to play things kind of fast and loose.

There will first be a call for nominations for "EC" positions (Pres, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Regional Vice Pres.). We'll vote by a simple show of hands. All EC positions MUST be filled.

I will not be seeking re-election as President....

Next will come nominations for the Board positions (Membership, Youth, Research, Meeting coordinator, etc.). There are currently 7 Board positions, which are 3 year terms, though not all positions are currently open.

If you would like more information on any particular Board or EC position, please feel free to PM me here or, email me at brian@mi53.org.

This year's elections will be rather important for us as a chapter. There's a lot of folks who, and rightly so, are frustrated with what our group has/hasn't accomplished. If you're in that group of folks....PLEASE step up! It doesn't take all that much time or effort to make a difference.

ps. As a reminder, MINC has updated it's by-laws and all chapters are organized into regions (we're in Region 1) and the position of RVP has been retained (will now attend only the Fall regional meetings).
