Thanks guys, its definitely was one of the cooler looking ducks I've ever seen. Just the coloration in the head was so awesome. One angle it would look exactly like a greenhead of a mallard, and the next it would be the brown of a drake pintail. I was hunting at a buddies blind, and the owner of the blind wanted to mount it so its going to be on his wall. Otherwise it would surely be going up in my room. I did take it to my taxidermist though around Fremont, so I will be able to get pictures of him after its done being mounted. He hasn't decided what to do with it, but I think it would be the coolest flying with the wings out or cupped. That way you be able to see the long pin tail and all. I almost think this thing is as cool as a band!

Pat what is a Nebraska black on your hit list? That would have been so sweet to shoot that thing in December. It woulda been sweet to see that tail all curled up. Also as stated above, would you count that as your mallard limit or pintail limit? Not sure if they even have rules for this situation??
