Game fish may be legally taken by bow and arrow, sunrise to sunset, July 1 through Dec. 31. Yes, that includes muskies. All fish taken by archery or spear-fishing are subject to the same length limits and bag limits as fish taken by hook & line (except the daily bag limit for walleyes taken by underwater spearfishing is 2 instead of 4). If you cannot tell if a fish meets the length limit, you better not let go of the arrow.
