Default Ridding pond of Rough Fish?

My brother's pond has a creek next to it that flooded and overflowed into it. He has since built up a dike to keep this from happening again. He has now noticed carp, buffalo and other rough fish swimming in the pond.

What would be the best way to get rid of these? Would electro-shocking be a possibility? (Picking up the stunned rough fish while they're on the surface, and discarding) He really does not want to go the rotenone route, and start over.

Pond is about 5 acres, 12 feet deep, and also has bluegills, catfish, crappies and bass.

Thanks for any advice.
