I like to try different broadheads, just a hobby for me. If you're beginning I'd really reccommend starting with fixed. Muzzy, NAP, Montec, and a lot of others make really good fixed blades that should get you flying straight. This will be my first year with the rage mechs., looking forward to trying them. Always make sure if they don't fly like they should that it doesn't have something to do with your bow. With that said, practicing with the broadhead you end up choosing is a must before heading to the field. Personal choice on mech vs. fixed, good and bad things too both. I trust and am more of a fixed broadhead person myself.
