I too like the IC for braid, I usually leave 1/2" tag on the end in case of slippage which does not seem to be a problem if an IC knot is well seated.
Regardless of which knot you tie keep in mind that any braided line can fail when the line is still relatively dry. The low stretch combined with a hard snapped hook set and a dry knot can "burn" right through the knot. The heat generated at the knot when the line is still dry is what can get you. So on those first few casts be careful not to set the hook too hard until the line has had a chance to soak a minute.
