Thanks for the help. I got a knot tying handout from Scheels and the Palomar knot is what I need to be using. I guess the correct name for the knot I have been using is the Trilene knot. Berkley tried to steal the knot about 20 years ago and had it on one of their packages as the Berkley knot thus I have called it the Berkley knot for 20 years. It almost worked for them.
