Do you mean the trilene knot? That's all I use and the only time I've had a problem was when using 30lb fireline (and the line was new and slick). I've gotten used to leaving a 3/4" or longer tag when tying knots. I still use the same knot with that same line and have zero problems now. A little dab of superglue will help or burn the tag with a lighter will help also. Once that slickness wears off some you will have less slippage.

I read an article that tested several lines and knots, palomar and braid only yielded like 60% of the lines breaking strength.
