I use a Palomar knot with braids. The thing with braids is they can cut the line just by friction on itself. We have the same problem once in awhile. I take extra time to make sure there is not twisted/crossed line when tying the knot. Also,the knot can slip with braids more so than mono. Take the extra second to make sure it's snugged down(wet the line well when pulling it tight) good and cut your tag end just a little longer than you would with mono.
