For some of the nicer lakes down in that area, you should get a GPS so that you can use the hot spots maps to find exactly where to go on the lakes. I really like the Lowrance because I know how to use them. But I know hummingbirds are very user friendly as well.
Also, Eagle is the same company as Lowrance, so if you are between these 2 brands, dont worry.
