You know, I don't know if collared lizards are native to Nebraska. I've seen them in deserts in California and know they are desert creatures, but even though Scott Eveland tells us there's not enough water out west, I wouldn't call any of Nebraska a desert really. Just looked it up and it says they like "rocky hilly" areas so I guess Western Nebraska would fit. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if they made it up to Nebraska (I'm assuming it would be western Nebraska) or if somebody let it loose.
