I am glad there are others out here who enjoy the "backyard" birds. I just love being outdoors in my yard with camera in hand sitting in the quiet watching all the birds and critters.
And vrentropy thanks for the advice with the camera too. I know very little about the settings. I love taking pics, but usually use auto everything, but with this camera (Olympus point & shoot SP-550UZ) I have alot I can do with it. I bought it originally because it was point & shoot and it has an 18x optical zoom. I figured I could get a decent zoom and still not have to know to much to get some decent pics. The more I use it though the more I want to utilize it so I guess I may need to read up on it more. For some reason the information I learned from my photography class I took in high school is not in my memory anymore!!!
