It is so easy to do that, like others have said, you won't want to roast ever again. It's ready in 40-50 minutes and always comes out looking golden brown, like it should be in a commercial.
I use the instructions that come on the package of the 5 gal (maybe it is 4.5, not sure). It says 3 minutes per lb plus 5 minutes at 350 degrees.
A couple notes to remember;
1) Make sure that if it spills/runs over, it will run away from the house, down the driveway or in a safe direction.
2) make sure the bird is dry
3) Try and keep it out of the wind. It is amazing how much wind will drop the tempature.
4) never do it in your garage.
